Call of Duty 2022: Modern Warfare 2 modes
An early leak mentioned that this new Escape From Tarkov-esque playlist is now in development.
The goal of the mode is to accumulate loot within various separate maps before extracting.
The Tarkov style mode, known as DMZ (Demilitarized zone), has been in development since 2019’s Modern Warfare.
CoD leaker Tom Henderson stated that DMZ was in some form of development since early 2018, making it one of the most ambitious modes to coincide with a new installment.
With a 20-35 player count, this new Call of Duty project will be an independent gaming experience, the same as Warzone at the moment.
DMZ has 4 distinguished maps in development. These maps will be exclusive to the DMZ mode. Therefore, don’t hope to see them in Warzone 2.
There is a difference in the design of maps. Some are catered for open-world, others are more concentrated.
While this DMZ mode will debut in Beta, a unique marketplace is expected to release alongside this initial testing stage.
In this marketplace, players can buy and trade some unique items like Operator skins, weapon blueprints, and more.
Items earned or purchased through the DMZ mode or marketplace will be used “across multiplayer and eventually Warzone 2.
Moreover, Attackers v. Defenders, the unique mode boasts a more tactical approach to round-based combat.
