In 2019, Invader Studios released a horror game inspired by Resident Evil called Daymare 1998. Which attracted a lot of attention from the genre enthusiast community. Which combining scary zombies with third-person shooter gameplay and resource management. Now, the company says its sequel is in development and is expected to launch next year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One along with Xbox Series X. Called Daymare 1994: Sandcastle, the first trailer of the game. The game was posted on YouTube by IGN, and more information was shared via Steam. Both sources confirming the game will feature haunting monsters for players to face and overcome.

True to its title, Daymare 1994: Sandcastle will be a prequel to the events of the first game. Putting players in the role of a special agent named Dalila Reyes, working for the private military organization HADES. That already introduced during the events of Daymare 1998. This time, players are tasked with breaking into “the most modern Research and Experiment Center in America”. With revelations from Invader Studios promising the place will fill with undead and other terrifying entities. Many of the characters from the first game are likely to return in this prequel. That’s allow players to learn about their origins, and how they became part of the Daymare 1998 storyline.
