A leaker posted a video showing the unfinished system for customizing the Elden Ring character and the monstrous creatures players could create.
Elden Ring’s release is pushed out to February 25, 2022
A leaker posted a video showing a character creation suite in Elden Ring gameplay. It resulted in a lot of weird and scary character designs.
Developer FromSoftware originally planned to launch the action role-playing game on January 21, 2022.
However, the release of Elden Ring was pushed back to February 25, 2022 to keep the game mechanics running smoothly.
After a few weeks of waiting, hopeful players are analyzing the official trailer from the trailer and looking for leaks.
The November Closed Network Test gave fans the opportunity to go hands-on with the game
Elden Ring hasn’t been released yet, but thanks to the November Closed Network Test, some fans already have a chance to get to know the game.
Users have the option to request a code that allows access to a playable version of the game if selected as a recipient.
The Closed Network Test was a huge success among people who play Elden Ring and provided a first look into the world of the Lands Between, its battles and enemies.
After Network Test, files were datamined from players searching for game details, resulting in a number of Elden Ring spoilers being shared online.
A YouTube video showcased Elden Ring’s character customization system and the terrifying creations
As reported by Game Rant, a leaked video under the name ER-SA has posted a video on its YouTube channel showing Elden Ring character personalization system and gruesome creations that can be brought to life.
In the video, ER-SA shows how players can choose the gender of their character and their starting class, which includes armor and weapons.
They also show that players can adjust their character’s age and various body type settings using the slider, including skin color, arm, leg, and torso.
Of course, there are several ready-made character options that people can choose from if they wish.
However, the ER-SA video shows that the character creation suite is not complete because there are no labels and some textures are missing.
At least now, fans can see how Elden Ring character building works.
Comparing character creations of FromSoftware’s Souls series and Elden Ring
Compared to the creators of FromSoftware’s Souls franchise, the Elden Ring character creation suite looks like an upgraded version, which was to be expected.
The hair options in particular have been significantly improved and look less harsh than in previous Souls games.
There are more physical changes to the face too, and as the ER-SA video shows, gamers can tweak these options to make a pretty scary human being if they want.
Though FromSoftware’s newest title has yet to release, players can glean sneak peeks from leaks online, though those looking to experience the game without such leaks are advised to peruse the internet with caution.
With this being one of the most anticipated releases of recent years, and Elden Ring being Steam’s most wishlisted game, it’s perhaps no surprise that spoilers have been shared and perhaps for those looking forward to getting a taste of the game, February 25th can’t come early enough.
