This Black Ops Cold War Forsaken Easter Egg Guide will help you understand the latest Cold War Zombie Map. As usual, it comes with a challenging Easter egg for you to complete. When you fight a powerful enemy, you need to complete a series of complex goals. Fortunately, this is one of the easier methods, although it still requires skill and patience to overcome. Fortunately, we are here to help with our Forgotten Easter Egg Guide.
In this Black Ops Cold War Forgotten Easter Egg Guide, 4FREEGAME will guide you through every step of the process to ensure that you can complete the challenge as easy as possible. As a reminder, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the map before trying the forgotten easter egg, so we recommend that you play a few rounds on your own. Also, before you start making Easter eggs, be sure to read this guide in its entirety, as it will make more sense in practice.
Step 1: Activate teleporter
Immediately run to the target within the distance indicated by the star. Upon arrival, activate the teleporter to trigger a 30-second timer, asking you to survive the wave of zombies. Please note that even if you do not destroy the zombies, the round will continue, but it is recommended that you eliminate as many zombies as possible to accumulate points.
After the timer expires, you can interact with the teleporter, so use it and it will spawn you in a new area called a checkpoint. After spawning, follow the target on the screen to go to the next teleporter. Please note that you need to purchase access to the teleporter by unlocking the door.
Step 2: Collect four parts to repair teleporter
Then now you will appear on the roof of the video store, where your task is to find four teleporter parts scattered around you. They can be found in audiovisual stores, movie theaters, TV stores, and Hamburg City-each location has a section. Remember that each part has three possible spawn points at the locations listed above.

Now, go to the target on the screen to repair the teleporter and activate it to reach the next area.
Step 3: Turn on the Pack-a-Punch machine
Follow the target to the next transmitter in the amplifier and interact with it. This will produce an abominable enemy, so use its weakness to easily destroy it. Enter the teleporter and you will reach the observation tower. Once again, follow the mark to find the red button, press it, and the Pack-a-Punch machine will start. This will also unlock. While still in the Observation tower.
Head to the south corner where you will find another red button. This button is located on the right side of the four vertical windows, on the south side of the teleporter. This button is not marked, but you need to press it anyway. Doing so will trigger a cutscene.
Step 4: Start working hard to get Chrysalax
After the cutscene, you will respawn, where you should start acquiring Chrysalax, the magic weapon of this map. Not only can it be used as a melee weapon, but it can also be shot like a gun, making it versatile.
There are multiple ways to acquire the Chrysalax, which we’ll list below:
Chrysalax Quest – This is a task specifically related to the construction of Chrysalax, which is common in every Zombies map.
Mystery Box – Crysalax actually has a common generation rate, so it’s not a bad idea to try this.
Trial – Obtain legendary rewards from the trial machine in the observation tower.
Der Eisendrache Arcade Machine – Visit this game in the arcade and survive enough rounds to get Chrysalax from the gold box.
It doesn’t matter which method you use, as long as you master Chrysalax. Considering that the method of obtaining this magic weapon may be time-consuming, it is best to start the next step during this period. You can proceed to step 5 while trying to earn Chrysalax, which is recommended. In the next step, you need to collect three parts to build the Neutralizer, let us understand their location. Remember, you can collect them in any order.
Step 5: Collect three parts to build Neutralizer
You can proceed to step 5 while trying to earn Chrysalax, which is recommended. In the next step, you need to collect three parts to build the Neutralizer, let us understand their location. Remember, you can collect them in any order.
Fuel Tank
At this time, go to the teleporter at the entrance area of the bunker, and you will spawn in the fuel processing area. Here, you need to activate one of the large processing tanks. If you are playing with a team, you all need to activate the tank at the same time (there are more than one). The single-player only needs to interact with one.
This will trigger a lock, requiring you to eliminate zombies to fill the tank. After you kill enough zombies to fill the fuel tank, the lock will end and the fuel tank will spawn in the center of the area.
Housing Unit
Next, you will want to keep playing until you hate it. Once this happens, take it to the boardroom in the bunker. On the northeast side of the upper right corner, you will find a housing unit that looks like a big trophy.
You cannot interact with it, so you should lure Abomination to the area and let it destroy the Housing Unit. This can help if you stand in a corner and let it attack you before quickly dodging. Once the housing unit is knocked down, grab it and remove the Abomination
Monitoring Device
Finally, go to the Pack-a-Punch machine and use Dead Wire to upgrade the standard weapon, which costs 2,000 points. From here, lure the zombies into the Arcade and use Dead Wire to shock it next to the Activision Grand Prix arcade machine. If done correctly, it will enable the machine, allowing you to deploy a 2,000-point RC-XD.
Deploy the RC-XD and drive it to the TV store behind the counter, where you will find the vent. The energy of the RC will find a vent, so go through it and turn north, where you will see a shelf. Use the RC to explode next to the shelf to knock it down. Then, once you control your character again, run to the TV store on the right side of the counter, and you will see a hole in the wall with surveillance equipment. Grab it.
At this point, you need to make sure that you have Chrysalax, so if you don’t, now is a good time to get it first, because you need it in the next step.
Step 6: Gather three Catalyzed Crystal Shards
You still have a set of items to collect, but this is easier said than done. There are three purple catalytic crystals around the map, but fortunately, they spawn in fixed locations. We will list them below:
- Amplifier
- Starting Area
- Storage Zone 5 on the rooftop
You need to destroy the three floating spheres flying around the crystal. This is done by using the gun version of Chrysalax. Press the arrow key up to switch to the gun version of the axe, and then shoot three spheres. Once they fall, you can use the axe version of Chrysalax to destroy the large crystal to reveal the crystal shards.
Pick up the shard and throw it into the mouth of hatred. It usually generates one after you destroy the catalytic crystal. If you do it correctly, the creature’s tail will light up orange, indicating that it is working, so you need to eliminate the beast.
When finished, it will drop a catalytic crystal shard.
Step 7: Escort Neutralizer
Now, repeat this process in the other two locations to collect three catalytic crystal fragments. After you get the third one, you can make a neutralizer. At this point, go to the main street area and go to the workbench to make the neutralizer. Activate it, if you are not ready, you will enter the escort stage, which can be tricky. After the start of the phase, a large bubble will appear around the neutralizer, and you need to stay in it to move the device.
It runs out of fuel regularly, so you can smash orange crystals on the street to collect more. Store the catalytic crystals to refuel the equipment until it reaches its destination. This is no return, so make sure to upgrade everything as much as possible-Chrysalax in particular-to make sure you are prepared.
The Neutralizer will stop in front of a gate and will spawn a Perk Machine, Pack-a-Punch Machine, and other equipment that can help you prepare for battle. When you are ready, approach the gate and interact with it to start the battle with the Forsaken boss.
Step 8: Forsaken boss fight
This is one of the more direct boss fights among Cold War zombies, and it is a relief because they are usually complex. We recommend running to the ring of fire below Maxis and filling the essential level by killing the zombies in the ring. You will notice an essence meter on the left side of the screen. Doing so will activate a laser cannon on the side of the battlefield. Then, repeat the process on the other side to activate the second laser cannon.
From here, use the gun version of Chrysalax to shoot the armored shoulders of the Forsaken. After you damage them, you will remove its shield and expose its weaknesses. Once this happens, run to one of the laser cannons and use it to shoot the newly discovered weakness on the boss’s shoulder. If done correctly, you will reduce the health of the Forsaken by half.
After the cutscene, you basically need to repeat the previous step, but this time, the weakness will be in its stomach. Remember to defeat the zombies in the ring of fire below Maxis to charge the cannon, then use Chrysalax to shoot the armor to deplete it, and then use the laser cannon to damage the weak points.
This game follows three rules-so repeat the process for the last time, but this time the head will be the weak point. Inflict enough damage to the head, the boss will fall, and the Easter egg will be completed.
