In a tweet yesterday, Guerrilla announced the “Gaia Cast”, “an upcoming podcast that dives deep into the Horizon Universe.”

The developer outlined the discussion the team will start today (November 23) in the 1st season.

The topic of each episode

The title of the first episode is “All About Aloy”, focusing on the protagonist of the series.

After that, the next two episodes were titled “Events of the Twenty-First Century” and “Project Zero Dawn”. Both provided a more in-depth explanation of the events that shaped the game’s narrative.

Aloy will join Genshin Impact, in collaboration with Horizon Zero Dawn

The podcast will explore the various tribes Aloy encountered during her journey.

It also includes the civil war that tore through Carja, and the machines she must fight against.

The first season has eight episodes. So assuming a weekly release schedule, this will take you most of the time to February when there is release date of Horizon Forbidden West.

Hopefully this means that Gaia Cast will have a second season and explore the game after the game is released.

The podcast is named after the complex AI program at the core of Project Zero Dawn. And it will be available through Guerilla’s YouTube channel, Apple Podcasts, Soundcloud and PlayStation Podcast on Spotify.

It is not clear whether the show will rely more on the development or narrative of the game world, but either way, it may become a must-listened show for major fans before the sequel.
