More specifically, PUBG Mobile will soon unlock Liverpool brand clothing and items including parachutes and backpacks.

This is PUBG Mobile’s first direct cooperation with a football club.

To obtain these items, you must complete a series of classic mode games.

The promotion period is from November 12th to December 20th.

“There may be more football cooperation” in the future

After England star Harry Kane joined Fortnite as a purchasable character this summer, this is not the first time football has crossed over with Battle Royale.

PUBG Mobile’s successor, PUBG: New State, will be launched globally next month. However, the former’s developer and publisher Tencent has apparently not yet completed support for the game. Especially since it is reported to have earned more than 5 billion US dollars since 2018 when it’s launched.

Tencent’s PUBG Mobile publishing director Vincent Wang hinted that there may be more football cooperation:

“As we continue to strengthen our current bonds and develop prominent relationships with iconic industry leaders, we look forward to further integrating the world of football into PUBG Mobile.”

Sports is a huge and relatively undeveloped field. So I would like to know if Liverpool will have more teams to follow in the next few months. In the meantime, we will have to wait to find out exactly what the items you can unlock in PUBG Mobile are actually.
